Government fiscal and monetary policy changes
In Colombia the monetary policy is ruled by an inflation targeting, which purpose is to maintain low rate taxes to get price stability with maximum sustainable growth in output and employment. The Board of the Bank of the Republic in Colombia determines the monetary policy. However the inflation is the country is higher than the inflation target (3%) that is 6,77% which heat the people with low salaries. Some of the consequences of this rate are the demand drops, the economic growth falls and the credit costs gets higher.
