Number of divorces
Due to the increase in the number of divorces in recent years, the newly separated people had been taken as an option a trip due that allows them to take a time to reorganize their life. According to official figures from the Superintendence of Notaries and Registries, the number of divorces in Colombia in the past two has been of:
“Period from January to May in 2014: 6.942 divorce cases, same period on 2015 had 7.721 divorce cases, it means divorce cases increase 11,22% from 2014 to 2015”
The cities with most number of divorces are 1:

Medellin: 44,19% of increase with a total of 685 more cases than 2014.

Bogotá: 12,13% of increase with 1.987 additional cases than in 2014

Cali: 2,54% of increase with 434 extra cases than in 2014
In addition, according to the Superintendence of Notaries and Registries in 2014: “every 1 divorce were recorded 3.5 marriages, which shows an increase of connections on a 1.77% against an increase of 0, 49% on divorces in comparison with 2013”
