The Colombian government budget is in deficit, so what can be said is that Colombia spends more than what produces. So making the analysis based on the graphic, Colombia is in deficit most time of the year, in some cases there’s no deficit, like for example on April, March or September of the last year (2015). What can be concluded is that in the country there’s a need of producing because the country is demanding lot of goods and services.

 

In Dinero they say that in this coming year, there would more deficit than growing in the country, and is supported by Mauricio Cárdenas, the Colombian minister of Finance and Public Credit, that income will be less in mining sector and the economy won’t be so dynamic
