Basically in Colombia is the function of the Ministry of Finance to take measures to achieve the objectives and goals of economic policy, to give you some introduction about what is the fiscal policies, it’s about the politic that follows the public sector respect of their decisions on expenses and taxes. Also it’s based to avoid the economy fluctuation.

On my opinion the fiscal policies should be flexible to not affect the tourism. Colombia has been really affected due of some problems like insecurity, that’s why the tourism has been affected, otherwise there is a proposal that could beneficiate us in the future, this law is called “Tax Reform”(reforma tributaria) that is going to increase the IVA from 16% to 19%, except us. This reform is going to be while we increase the security of the country.
