Expectation of life directly affects a travel and tourism agency as it can depend on the amount of man or women who travel, this is directly related to the purpose of the journey and the duration that this can have taking into account the costs.  

 

According to the recent study from the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE), the life expectancy in Colombia between 2010 and 2015 has been of: “70,95 years for man and 77,10 years for women, making a total life expectancy of 73,95 years for both genres".

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, the recent studies show that: “in 2014 there was a gain of 8.5 years for the Colombian population, which places the nation as the second Latin-American country that increases its life expectancy after Chile.” 

 

This means that the increase in the number of clients of any of the genres benefits the company actively by having more time of life for traveling.
