In Colombia the number of patents is a low number, the people who present their patents to de SIC (the government organization for giving patents) are most of them foreign people, and Colombians don’t make so much patents. Unless, the number of patents per year un Colombia made by Colombians is increasing, but the last year there was an average of 5,5 patents per million people in the country.
