The pollution in our country is getting bigger in the past years. According to the data base Knoema the ozone depleting substances are any substance containing chlorine or bromine that destroys the ozone layer. The stratospheric ozone absorbs most of the biologically damaging ultraviolet radiation.  The consumption of substances that affects the ozone depleting are getting bigger in Colombia, by 2012 the increase registered was 31,01% and according to the graph this growth will continue.
