The attitude of the Colombians against foreigners is quite good, they are well received and almost in all situations, there are not disadvantages between aliens and nationals. In the case of the tourism and travel agencies, the foreigners who come in search of holiday plans and varied typical-like knowing the Amazon or the Sierra Nevada del Cocuy feel quite attracted with them.

 

Attitudes toward foreigners in Colombia are usually warm, especially if it is to attract customers to the local businesses such as: hotels, cafes, and handicrafts, among others.

 

The arrival of foreigners means for the country new job opportunities, new investments and hence economic growth that will enable us to overcome the crisis that constantly our country has. According to Jal Ebersol, general manager of Keuco for Latin America, arriving in Colombia is strategic because: "Colombia counts with a robust economy, with growth rates solid and sustainable."

 

According to the latest report of the WTO: “Colombia amounted in position as a destination for travelers in the last year. Now in the third position in Latin-America, Colombia tripled the global average of foreign tourists, with a 12% rise in the foreign visits.”
