Level of disposable income

According to the National Statistics Institute(INE), between April and June (latest data available) disposable income,- after deduction of tax- of the families decreased by 3.2 percent year on year , and this mainly due to the reduction of wages ( -3.9 percent) and property income such as interest, dividends ...,The sector of non-financial corporations ( companies) increase their disposable income in 6.4 percent , driven by a combination of increased profits (3.2 percent ) and a sharp drop in income property that had to pay.This will show us that for the companies the disposable income has growth which give us a perception of how the Colombian market is working because it increase for the high profits that are achieve by the sells.
 

The income earned on average for households are 1'924.933 pesos. Also, each worker or , in general, who perceives income, receives on average 906,452 pesos per month.

The income received per household did not rise in 2014, while revenue per worker only had an increase of 1.7 percent.

In 26 percent of households -the same level as a year ago- it feels that the income they receive does not cover the expenses . Those who consider their income enough to cover only the essential expenses are only 14.3 percent of households .
