An encouraging trend is the growth in ecotourism products. More businesses are entering the market and more travelers are looking for ecotourism experiences.

  • Provide high quality having the best staff, in order to acomplish the expectatives of the clients with tours and plans offers.

  • Have a great knowledge of the ecoutoutism destinations that are offer, in order to achieve and satisfy the clients expectations. 

  • Create a relationships between clients, employees and environment.

  • Create a great organizational culture, in order to show to customers that it has an excellent service to offer.

 

Developing policies

Developing policies are important into a company becausethey establish the rules of within an organization, outliningthe responsibilities of both employees and employers (Scott, s.f.)

 

1. In order to provide an excellent customer service, every person working with our company must show an appropriate conduct, be responsible and kind with every customer that is using our service.

2. The employees and employers of the company will be willing to help the environment, being conscious about the use of the natural resources, having an adequate use of waste and telling the customers about the correct use of them. 

3. Our company has a compromise with the country where it is established, helping in its economy growth by creating as many jobs as possible.

4. Every employee must have an excellent personal hygiene and presentation. 

5. Members of our company family show determination when developing their tasks and show responsibility, respect and honesty in everything they do.

 

Setting Goals

 

Before opening

  1. The company has to know 10 different places to offer to our customers near Santa Marta.

  2. After choosing each place is needed to employ two guides that know or are capable to learn each place the company is going to go before we open to the public.

  3. The places have to be accomplished for the travelers we are going to go, and trials of each place have to be carried out.

  4. One month before opening the company has to know clearly which implements for eco-tourism are going to be used, and for our goal, those have to be for almost 10 people ready material to use.

  5. For the same period of time before opening the value of our travels must be defined for each traveler and value for a group of travelers involved. That include meals, the use of implements and security and wealth plans with an external company.

  6. Define how the logistic of the meals and remnants are going to be managed to reduce to the minimum of affectance to the environment.

After opening to the public

 

  1. One moth after opening to the public, we have to achieve 20 to 30 travelers a month

  2. In the first month our affectance to the environment must be no more than just accomplishing the place for travelers.

  3. By the second month the company has to achieve it’s 50 travelers.

  4. Each month passed the company has to be known for 30 more people than was the month before it. It will be measured by any interaction that the company has with any new person.

  5. By the 8th month we have to achieve 50 people the month.

  6. On year after opening, we have to be known for almost 600 people and having advertising in the airport of Santa Marta.

  7. By the second year we have to value the possible idea to make relationships with local private schools for outdoor activities to the students.

  8. By the year five the company should give it’s plans to private schools of Bogotá, Medellin, Cali, Cartagena and Barranquilla.
