
Number, severity and location of government protests
The protests made by the Government are almost always due to political affairs, the most recent case is “the one submitted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia to the government of Venezuela because of the presence of two aircraft to Colombian territory.”
Also, there are public protests against the government and the measures it takes due to pressure of the economic crisis that the country is facing today.
The recent protests made in the mass transport system Transmilenio, are one of the most costly that has had to assume Bogota. “These protests have a cumulative total of 180 million pesos in damages”, which will come out of taxes.
The employees and customers of the different companies are affected, as they are not being able to attend promptly at their jobs, appointments or trainings, thus affecting its time and personal economy.
